I completed my Ph.D. on the topic ‘Atmospheric Studies using Remote Sensing Techniques and In-Situ Measurements over the Himalayan Region’, from IIT Dhanbad in 2019. During my Ph.D. tenure, I worked on the scientific aspects of the key variables in the domain of the atmosphere, mainly the aerosols, clouds, precipitation, and associated meteorology over the Himalayan region. I did my M.Tech and B.E. in the field of Electronics & Communication Engg from NIET (NIMS University) and Bharati Vidyapeeth University. After passing 10th, I completed 2-year Certificate course (equivalent to 10+2 by MHRD, Govt. of India) and 2-year Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engg. from Sant Longowal Institute of Engg. & Technology (SLIET). 


To my credit so far, has more than 35 technical and scientific publications, including refereed journals, conferences, proceedings, etc. In 2006, I joined National Atmospheric Research Laboratory (NARL) Gadanki, where I worked mainly on the technical aspect of Indian MST radar and LiDAR facilities. I joined ARIES, Nainital in August 2007 as an Engineer. Since the beginning, I have been assigned prime Engineering responsibilities in the major projects/atmospheric facilities like ST radar, high-energy pulse LiDAR, trace gas measuring facility, RS/RW launch facility, weather stations, etc. In ST radar and LiDAR projects, I played a significant contribution to the software & hardware design, development, and testing of major & minor sub-systems, including instrumentation, system calibration, and integration. I possess well command over various programming tools like MATLAB, LabVIEW, C/C++, C#, VB, Python, etc., and has developed numerous software packages and routines for scientific application. Additionally, I also have experience in handling and aligning smaller telescopes, in operating LASER sources, and various test and measuring instruments like oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, VNA, OTDR, etc.
